Introduction
Welcome to East Athens' best community pool. Located in the heart of Green Acres and Crestwood subdivisions, the pool has been a popular summer neighborhood gathering place for over forty years. We are a non-profit organization run by and for the members and staffed full time by a team of qualified lifeguards and a pool manager. Safe, clean and friendly with lots of opportunity for fun or just relaxing.
2012 Schedule
Mark these dates for the 2012 Swim season:
- Annual Members Meeting: Tuesday, April 10, 7:00-7:30pm at Firehouse #7 on Barnett Shoals Rd.
- Leaf removal and cover removal: Saturday April 14, 10am - 12pm (rain date 4/15, 1pm)
- Pool Cleanup and setup: Saturday, May 5, 10am - ? (rain date 5/6, 1pm-?)
- Open House: Saturdays, May 19 & 26, 10-7; Sundays, May 20 & 27, 1-7 - bring your friends and neighbors to introduce them to your favorite summer hangout. Free admission for all guests.
- First week special hours: Mon 5/21- Fri 5/25 open from 12pm - 6pm
- From Mon 5/28 begin regular hours of 10-8 Mon - Sat and 1-8 on Sun
- Pool Closing: Saturday September 15 at 10am (rain day on Sun 9/16 at 1pm). Please help put everything away for the winter.
