A lifeguard is expected to work a minimum of 10 hours per week at a maximum of 40 hours per week.

A Lifeguard is responsible for supervising swimmers, preventing accidents, and the upkeep of the facility. A Lifeguard oversees the pool to create the safest swimming environment possible - this includes but not limited to:

• Swimmer Surveillance

• Administering Swim-Tests

• Testing Water Chemistry and Reporting Issues

• Vacuuming and Cleaning the Pool

• Monitoring Restrooms

• Daily Cleaning Duties

• Enforcing Pool Rules

Requirements:
Lifeguard Certification

A manager is expected to work an average of 15-20 hours per week. Must work 4-5 days a week with at least one of those shifts scheduled during the weekend.

In addition to the duties of a Lifeguard, a Pool Manager supervises all Team Members at the pool, completes monthly schedules, and attends all pool board meetings, along with chemical maintenance and record keeping. The Pool manager is responsible for but not limited to:

• Swimmer Surveillance

• Managing Team Members

• Writing the Schedule

• Maintaining Pool Equipment

• Reporting Issues and Required Repairs

• Testing Water Chemistry

• Vacuuming and Cleaning the Pool

• Monitoring Restrooms

• Daily Cleaning Duties

• Enforcing Facility Rules

Requirements:
Lifeguard Certification
Previous lifeguard experience
Team management experience preferred
